Idan Santhaus is an exciting and emerging young saxophonist, flautist, composer and arranger residing in New York City.

Santhaus leads his own 16-piece “Jazz Orchestra” into the modern genre-bending category of big band with his first album as a leader, titled There You Are (Posi-Tone 2013). The album features all original compositions by Santhaus, whose gifted songwriting ability leads the talented musicianship of some of New York’s finest musicians to make this album one to look out for in new jazz sounds.
