Trombonist David Gibson’s newest recording is titled Inner Agent (2016), his fourth for Posi-Tone. It’s a continuation of ideas and expressions forged on BOOM! (2015) with a band of some of the best young talent on today’s New York area scene. Gibson searches the voices within himself to discover his bliss and shows a renewed sense of purpose.
